Jumptap is looking for a highly experienced Chief Revenue Officer to lead the go-to-market sales strategy and advertising sales team.  The company’s rapid growth over the past few years, has led Jumptap to seek a strong leader to help accelerate us through the next growth phase and beyond the $100M revenue mark.

Vice President of Network Development/Management, Cambridge MA or NYC

Jumptap is hiring a Vice President of Network Development, the revenue optimization arm of our fastest growing mobile advertising business unit. The position will grow Jumptap’s existing publisher and app partners’ revenue through analysis to identify new business opportunities.  This is a great opportunity to contribute to the top-line growth of one of the fastest growing companies in mobile advertising.

In this role, you’ll work with publishers and apps to package, price and maintain the Jumptap Ad Network footprint.  Inventory development & management efforts are directly responsible for identifying and selling-in optimization opportunities to increase overall partner revenue.  As a key interface with our publisher & carrier partners, you’ll be expected to grow revenue from an initial baseline through secondary sales efforts coupled with analysis to support your recommendations.  Candidate must be focused, energetic and be able to quickly produce tangible results. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, the Director of Marketing will create and drive strategic public relations and analyst relations programs, as well as manage events and conferences. This person must have a strong experience in B2B communications and/or targeting the advertising/digital marketing and media industries specifically. Experience in an advertising technology, media publisher, or an ad network company considered a plus. The role will involve working with business and trade press and analysts, developing strong story strategies and  the PR agency and multiple creative resources  In addition, it will require exceptional creativity and experience coordinating the company’s participation at events and conferences. This person must also be able to work successfully with different departments and on deadlines.

This role is designed to support the Sales team through the effective development of media plans that meet the needs of our clients’ advertising campaign objectives while maximizing revenue opportunities for Jumptap and its participating properties.  The successful candidate will develop competence in marketing, research and overall information analysis.  Working with the Sales Executives, the Media Planner will assist in defining the optimal solution to meet the client’s objectives through continuing study of the client, publisher and changing market landscape.  The role is pivotal to the sales process and growth of our business and this individual should always be alert to opportunities that can lead to a stronger, more profitable relationship and a satisfied client.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

Media Planning (60%)

  • Develop and present to sales executives comprehensive media plans and presentations that are results driven, with the ultimate goal of winning long term business; driven from RFPs, RFIs and meetings;
  • Evaluate and suggest effective placements and rates which drive to overall revenue objectives;
  • Work with the sales executives to conduct needs analysis, identify target audience, business goals, budget and pricing;

Description

 

As a member of the Advertising Operations Team, the Account Manager will be responsible for implementing advertising campaigns and ensuring that campaigns achieve client goals.  They will be responsible for properly loading campaigns and making recommendations regarding effective mobile advertising.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

 

  • Set up and manage campaigns on Jumptap’s advertising platforms
  • Provide superior customer service for all accounts
  • Analyze the market and advertising inventory and make suggestions regarding opportunities and challenges
  • Monitor campaign delivery and escalate any issues
  • Post launch campaign optimization
  • Compile, evaluate and analyze results and recommend strategy/plan changes when necessary
  • Inventory reporting when necessary
  • Weekly customer reporting for top clients
  • Work with Account Executive and Media Planner level contacts at Agency
  • When needed update management on campaign progress and/or issues
  • Provide feedback and/or insight to internal teams to assist to help build out more advanced solutions
