JumpTap, which looks to challenge, Google, Yahoo, Microsoft and others in mobile search and mobile advertising, earns $26 million from AllianceBernstein L.P., WPP and others. The cash infusion will enable JumpTap to build out its white-label mobile search engine for operators such as AT&T and provide more ammunition to support its mobile advertising customers, which include NBC Universal.
