Jumptap Continues to Hire Top Talent from Interactive Advertising

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. — January 28, 2008 — JumpTap, the leading mobile search and advertising provider, today announced another major step in the growth of its advertising business by hiring Internet advertising veteran Evan Krauss as Global SVP, Advertising Sales & Business Development. Krauss’s move signals a sharp increase in market demand for mobile advertising and is further evidence of JumpTap’s commitment to drive the advertising industry forward. Krauss will oversee JumpTap’s global advertising and publisher sales efforts, and will be responsible for its overall business development processes.

Krauss has built new products and businesses for some of the Internet’s most important brands, including Yahoo!, AOL, Excite, Looksmart and Agency.com. He was most recently president and CEO of Cuts, Inc., a critically acclaimed online video editing service. Before Cuts, Krauss spent nearly seven years at Yahoo!, where he was Managing Director of Monetization for the Connected Life business unit. His responsibilities included developing new advertising businesses to monetize the emerging Mobile, Living Room, and Desktop services. Krauss was also a key player in Yahoo!’s early mobile efforts and brings with him deep knowledge of the mobile industry.
